Under the auspices of the Ministry of Commerce of PRC and the People’s Government of Guangdong Province，organized by the China Foreign Trade Center（CFTC）, the 106th session of Canton Fair – China import & Export Fair will be held from October 15 to November 4, 2009 in China Import and Export Fair Complex, Guangzhou city, South China’s Guangdong province.
As a national exhibition event and the biggest trade fair in China, Canton Fair has been held uninterruptedly and biannually since 1957 with a gross exhibition space of over 1 million m2 and 55000 stands.
Among over the 15000 types of products, there’re not only traditional commodities of light industry, textiles and garments, but also hi-tech and high value-added electromechanical goods.
Exhibitors and buyers of the fair come from various industries in China and the world. About 22000 Chinese enterprises and 200000 buyers from more than 210 countries and regions attend each session of the fair.
